President's
day acknowledges two of the architects of this country. Washington
was our first President, and lead our first army against the British and
Lincoln lead another army against their brothers to keep this nation
together. This is not traditionally a gift exchanging holiday, but
the theme of building should be considered for gifts given around this
time.
Travel:
There are many great vacation ideas for gifts for the time period around
this holiday. Some suggestions are Washington DC where you can
learn more about these two great presidents; Mt. Vernon, VA, the home of
Washington, Popes Creek Plantation, Va the
birthplace of Washington or Sinking Spring, KY the birthplace of Lincoln. |
